きょうのどうぶつ

那須のアルパカちゃん。いつだったか忘れましたが、職場の研究室の旅行の時に撮影しました。ちょうど繁殖期だったかと。コテージというか一軒家に宿泊してバーベキューとかやったっけな。寒くなるちょっと前で、越冬のために布団に潜り込んだカメムシが大量に出てきて大騒ぎだった。カメムシを掃除機で吸ってはいけないと悟ったのもこの時です。

Prof. Paul Knochelらのグループによる報告です。Paul Knochelといえば有機亜鉛ですね。私が学生の頃にはもう有機亜鉛の論文がありました。30年以上続いているのではないかと。

論文中のハロゲン/サマリウム交換によって生じるサマリウム反応剤は1980年代に報告された今本反応剤(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organocerium_chemistry)とよく似ていますね。光学活性ホスフィンボランの今本先生@千葉大。違いはサマリウムかセリウムか、くらいでしょう。

そういえば、3価のサマリウムを有機マグネシウムか有機リチウムと反応させるとサマリウムが還元されて2価になるという論文がありますね。中央大学の福沢先生。

そしてそのサマリウムですが、Nanonieleの分析では無機化学と物理化学の分野でよく研究されているようです。発光材料と磁石に関するものがメインでしょうか。関連のキーワードはemission, photoluminescence。Eu, Nd, Ybなどの希土類元素と合わせた研究がなされているようです。
