Pd触媒下でのアリルベンゼン類のヒドロチオール化。アリル基中、ベンゼン環に結合している炭素原子とチオールの硫黄原子の結合が形成します。Graphical Abstrac通り、アリルベンゼンの異性化を経てターゲット化合物が生成します。

そしてGrahical Abstract中のLigandは、テキスト容姿にも記述がありますが、1,2-ビス(ジ-tert-ブチルホスフィノメチル)ベンゼン (dtbpx)です。多分xはキシレン。


んで、この配位子となる化合物、Supporting Informationにもありますが、試薬会社から購入したものをそのまま使用したり、自分たちで合成したものを使ったりしているのです。購入したものにはリン原子のところが酸化されたものが混ざっているし、合成したものには似たような構造の単座のリン化合物が入っているしで、純度の低いもののを使わざるを得なかった事情はわからなくもないのですが、不純物の影響をどう考慮しているのか、気になるところです。

そんなお家事情的なことを知りたいので、読みたい論文に追加です。市販品の酸化されたものをトリクロロシランなどで還元すればいいじゃんと思ったりもするのですが、単離中にまた酸化されたりして純度を上げられなかったのかなと。

ところで反応式にhydride sourceと書いてるのがTableにはacidなのは何?
